Day 2. Morning edition. Blast off 6am . Weigh in 12:15. We tried new places and fresh faces. The tide was low.

Cris had the hot hand today and caught all of our fish. 4 keepers to be exact. The bite was slow and random, just like yesterday. You'd get a fish, then nothing for an hour, then a fish, then nothing for 2 hours.

In between were endless 8 and 12 inch bass that would slap at the frog. We would yell giant! and game on! as these monsters attacked. It was pretty sad to be honest.

Never had any exciting chances. Weighed in 6.4lbs. Didn't stick around, just headed home. If I had to guess, it probably took 14lbs to get paid.

I didn't learn much this tournament other than the fact that the Delta is still brutal, especially if all you can use is a topwater. My plan is to wait a few years before going for largemouth on the delta again.
