The 941C has to be one of the best blanks ever built. I have several rods built on them and use the rods to catch a wide variety of fish.

Main 4 rods I use:

Shimano Compre CPCTR83MB 8'3" telescopic perfect for smaller wakebaits, swimbaits and dog walking baits. Also awesome as a live bait rod Throws baits up to 2oz well.

Rainshadw SW967 MS slammers & big dog walker baits around 3-4oz

Graphite USA 79Mag Same as the sw967 but works well for the rubber baits too (faster action and more sensitive)

Calstar GFX800M (different from the standard 800M) This rod has a more forgiving parabolic action which is great for monster sized wake baits, giant dog walking baits, and has enough back bone for the big rubber baits. I also put a big reel on this rod and use it for tossing 16oz pyramid sinkers plus bait off the bank and piers in the carquinez straights for sturgeon.

As a non-boater, Co-angler, Am or how ever you refer to the guy in the back of the boat, I tend to only bring 4-5 rods with me. These are pretty much with me every trip:

Powell 734 casting Jigs, C-Rig
Powell 703 spinning Dart head, wacky style
Lamiglas xps 702 spinning Drop shot special
Then depending on how the bite is I will have either:

I can only really think of two and a half.

* Shimano Crucial 6'8"M drop shot rod (Gread rod. I hope the new version is ok)

Most of my other rods work pretty well, but I'm sure could be replaced relatively easily with other brands. A few of the workhorse rods.

My Okuma 3 GS swimbait sticks: I have one in each action, MH, H, and XH (all 7'11 except for the XH) and I have them on deck almost every time I am out. My favorite of the bunch is the MH because its great for wake baits that I throw the most and also works great for swim jigs and 5 inch Big Hammers. I do wish they still made the 7'10 H, as its shorter handle was better for big walking baits. (my 7 year old slammed mine in the door of my van)

Powell 734: This is the best multi-purpose rod I have ever owned. I use it for pitching Senkos, tossing chatter baits spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, dragging 1/2 to 3/4 oz football jigs, spooks, ripbaits and open water frogging.

7'10 MH BPS Cranking Stick: Yeah its cheap and a bit heavy but I love this rod for cranking. From LV500s to DD-22s this rod handles them all. I have caught everything from 12 inch spotted bass to 20 lb stripers on this rod and I love it.

Dobyns Champion Series 806MLSB for mainly 8" to 10" swimbaits.

Dobyns Champion Series 795MLSB for mainly 5" to 8" swimbaits.

Custom Graphite USA 80 Monster Mag built by Adam Cargill for 10" to 12" swimbaits.

Dobyns Champion Series 805FLIP/PUNCH for flippin', pitchin', punchin'; and bed fishing.

Dobyns Champion Extreme DX784 C ML for A LOT of thing! It's called a "Jig Rod", but I use it for casting jigs, different plastic rigs, small swimbaits, walking baits (throws a mile), spoons of various sizes, buzzbaits, etc, etc; etc. Super versatile rod if you don't mind the length..............which I don't:)!

Up to 4-5oz or so yes, no problem. Real big stuff not so much. Like anything with braid you must be in tune with what is about to happen hahahahaha I can throw a punker a mile with braid on that rod. More wind resistant plugs I do a little more deliberate feathering of the spool, because yes, explosive things can happen with a weapon like that!!! I don't use it for big soft stuff. Big hard stuff only for the most part. I have snapped a plug off a few times (as most any rod will fishing braid with heavy stuff from time to time) but in general I don't have problems. That blank is somewhat variable as well, I have 2 of them purchased 3 years apart and the earlier one is a little stiffer than the other.
