Has anybody tried dragging a floating trout lure on the bottem via a 3 way swivel and heavy weight? I have not yet but its on my list, what was your luck.

I heard somebody talking about draging a castaic shad and he said that worked good but he carolina rigged it. I'd think that a three way swivel would probably work better but that would probably be hard to cast with all the wieght.

Dragging a floating Yo-Zuri minnow type bait behind a three way swivel works in deep water for halibut, no reason it wouldn't work for bass.

I'm with you Chris, if you can get it down there legistically, why would'nt it work??? This just goes to show all of us, trying new methods is a very, very good thing, I think I personally lack confidence in new ideas, why???????? I don't know, just babbling...
