it is a rubber bait kinda of like a osprey but harder and heavier. i bought one and took it back the day after i tried it. the tail is very stiff. you can get them a anglers marine in anaheim. in my opinion save you money and get a osprey or sidewinder.

I wouldn't count the eagle out completely. It definitely has it's place. Although similar to the osprey it can be fished a lot faster on the surface. I would definitely still keep one around, it's got it's place.

If you think the tail is too stiff you can soften the bait by putting it in boilling water for a couple of minutes the night before you go fishing.

If the Fred Hall show makes it's way towards SD there will be a booth selling them. They really seem like good baits, broke mine off at perris on the first few casts and never really got a chance to fish'em hard. They did away with the two hook rig they originaly came with because of tail hooking problems while casting. They look just as good if not better than an osprey, could'nt hurt to have one..or two.

Osprey,Eagle.Just about the same bait. They do the same thing .Eagle has a better harness rig.imo.It will last longer, less super glue.Boiling the tails will work wonders for your big plastics as well.Get a couple and see for your self, its the only way to really get an idea of the baits and how they will work for you.You can get both at Anglers marine,or bww!!Good luck ...Havent heard of a hard bait Eagle,Osprey(Jerry)used to make a hardbait but i guess it wasent all that great so they discontinued it.
