Woke up this morning and poked my head out the window. Oh man oh man, you can feel it in the air. Storms on their way in and the jet stream almost right over us

Hey Swimbait, I hear ya' brother ! I definately agree that maybe the best time for a trophy bass is on the front side of a front !
However, as it is, I can only "squeeze" in about 120 days a year on the water, so reguardless of what the weather is like, I have to go when I can, and as I recently wrote about, "If a guy only goes on the best weather fronts, near a full or new moon, only during the Spring, etc., he will not end up spending much time on the water, and will drastically reduce his chances at a trophy ! Fact is, many of my best catches have come on days which would not be considered optimum !
I would say, fish whenever you can........good weather is just a bonus !
