Has anyone tried any Okuma reels for swimbaits? Looking to buy a swimbait reel and looking for reels besides the Calcutta's.

Thanks,

Stan

I use the Induron 150 for all my swimbaits. There smooth and solid reels with a great drag system. The only complaint I have is I wish I would have gone with the ID250 instead of the ID150.

I have 2 250's and 3 400's. I love them all. They have not let me down and the price is right. They also doudle as great saltwater reels. I have caught a ton of calicos, yellows and lings on them.

I don't have one, but take a look at the Tica's as well; they have a pisces model that is worth considering I think; it appears to be built similar to the Shimano, but is less expensive.
