Yo, what's up Bigreenjobass! This post is almost a week late but I wanted to tell you about the Basstix baits. You know, the baits are kinda tough to find. I stumbled on them a few years ago at the Fred Hall Show at Long Beach. Then I couldn't find them anywhere(including the web)until last year's show. I don't have the Bluegill sytle but I did end up buying their minnow style FishTrix. These are the same design of baits(hollow tube center)w/ a minnow shape. They come in some really cool translucent colors and some of them even have colored foil inserts. The eyes are awesome, and they look just like a small shad or shiner! I know that Larry Hemphill swears on power shotting the BG baits over beds in one BassWest mag, and he seems to do well on them. I know the FishTrix are awesome for dropshotting in clear water and other finesse stuff so far. I'm going to buy some more of these baits when I go the show this year, perhaps some larger ones bcz these things would make an awesome soft jerkbait!
