It's a brown trout (Salmo trutta) but not of the subspecies commonly found in and around terlets (Stankus turdicus)....

Well gang the actual weight of the fish pictured was 11.25lbs. We had two guesses at 11.10lbs, one from l_boden and one from BIGUN. Unfortunately BIGUN your guess was the second guess of 11.10 and doesn't count per the rules:

Man, I am having the worst day ever. I totally missed the other guess of 11.10- I never would have done that. I had the guess of the largemouth NAILED, too, but decided to guess a higher weight because all you people who actually get to see these big fish were guessing higher so I bumped mine up, too. I am so bummed, I really wanted that tool and refuse to buy a bbz knock-off. Thank you for at least making the chance possible and congratulations to the winner- I hope you stick a monster with it.
