Any Idea about how much a 47" salmon might weigh. I know there is a formula to figure a close weight but I don't really know what it is. Any help would be great 47" long and 33" girth. :-)

Do I really need to tell you? About 300 yrds. below the Blue Lake bridge. I have been fishing for over 25 years and no joke, biggest fish I have ever seen :-) . I have worked the numbers with two different formulas and both come up 60+. I am still in awhh of the raw power. Talk about testing your knots. I will never doubt 15# big game.

I wish I had a camera. That thing was a dinosaur. I wasn't real excited about fishing the river and that was my first trip of the year. I really wasn't planning on getting the biggest fish I had ever seen. :-(
