Congrats to Dan for the Big Win, 15lbs and change. Also good job to Taylor for 2nd place with 15+ lbs.. I rounded off the top 3 with 12+ lbs.

It was a fun day on the water, warm and over cast. I fished in Beaver Bay all day catching my fish on senkos and a flick shake Jackal worm. The fish I found were around dock pilings with weeds near by, in 4-12' of water.

Something happend at the weigh in that I think needs to be addressed by the club officials. Taylor weighed in a fish that went 6.12 lbs. I asked for it to be re-weighed becaused it didnt look quite that big to me. After tareing the scale and re-weighing the fish it weighed in at 5.84. This was significant because Dans big fish weighed in at 5.86 and the final weight between first and second was about 3 ounces.

My point is that through out the weigh in water weight accumulates in the weigh in bag. Should we re-tare the scale after each bag is weighed in? Something needs to be adjusted to avoid a situation like this from happening again.

Taylor, sorry again for re-weighing that fish. I didn't relize it would cost you the win. x(
