Anybody up for a spring lake turkey shoot this saturday or next?I think there`s a few more toads to be caught before the winter sets in.What do ya guys think?Could make it a specialty tourney like swimbaits only or something of that nature.

Sounds interesting sir! Funny, Rich and I were just talking about something like this. I think I could be game for this. I'm pretty sure Saturday is open for me. Do you know what time Spring is open? Any other takers???

How about only using each persons favorite two baits. Two rods only. Each rod can only use one type of bait. If your flipping, you can only use one style and pattern of what you chose to flip, nothing else.So if you flip a june bug mister twister, then thats all you should have in your tube for flipping baits. Now you can swim that bait and or work it like a worm, but thats all you can through is that june bug mister twister. Or if you chose a blade, only one size, patern, and make. Same with crank baits too. Fish from what ever time to 1:00 pm and then lunch afterwards? I might be down..

Sounds good to me.I think the park opens at first light, but there might be a chance of getting in a tad early. We need to talk to Jeff. Also I think Todd should wear a blindfold to even out the competition a little.lol

Ha ha. I guess I should thank you for that. Now I have to ask, is it going to be for just one big fish or bag?

I would like to go big fish with maybe a second big fish option, split it two thirds for big fish and one third or second.I also like the idea of bringing only two rods and selecting only two types of lures for the day.Todd do you think you could e-mail or call the rest of the guys who don`t visit the forum?Let me know if you need some help calling, just tell me who and there numbers.

I'll drop an e-mail tomorrow. How about this, up to 5 guys, 1 big fish payout, up to 10, 2 big fish, etc. Will make it a little easier to figure out.

So, two rods, one lure for each rod (but you can have more than one of the same lure). $10 entry? Will be from early till 1pm??? Let me know if these things sound good!

Everything sounds good to me.We`ll have to iron out the lure details, such as can we have different colors of the lures we choose?

Cool Jeff.Talked to Deren and he`s in.He was wanting to know more specifics about the bait selections. The boundaries on crankbaits spinnerbaits, can we switch to a different type of lure we select or is it balls to the wall with what we select in the morning color and weight wise.I hope that makes sense, lemme know what you guys want to do,I`m easy either way.Bill

Why don't we just say meet at 7am, two rods, two baits (and you can have excact duplicates of each bait, no different colors or sizes), payout being what I mentioned before, oars allowed(?), and a $10 entry. Let me know if their is any changes and I'll send the e-mail out.

Hows this sound. If you chose a crack bait such as a rattle trap for instance. You have to use the same color and size. The same goes on blades. Now on the other hand it you chose a plastic presentation such as flipping or worming. You have to use the exact same worm, size & color, but you can change only the hook and or weight.
What do you guys think ?

Rich

P.S. 7AM Sounds great, what about Mcy D's afterwards ?

About the times, we just don't know if we can get in that early, right? If I send an e-mail it would be better if we have something set. Can you give Jeff a call about it?
