This should definitely give some of you some good ideas! Not exactly a cart but sure would work good. It's an auction but look at the pictures for some good ideas.

I think I've gotta have 2 wheels across the bottom to spread the weight (and *balance*!) around. When I need the cart, it usually means I've gotta take all my gear along with me, for a fairly long hike. With just that one wheel, I'd be afraid of dumping everything along the trail, at some point in the trek.

Not a bad idea, though -- thanks for sharing! (Still seeking that ideal solution, unfortunately. Never did get a response from that one website dealer I tried to contact via his site).

Ya know, I don't think it'd be that hard to modify that thing with an axle that'd support two tires. It's pretty cool though. I'm tempted to bid on it... almost.

It kinda gives it that wheelbarrow affect I think it would be pretty sturdy, just use the footrests as handles.I wonder what the reserve is.

Wheel is too small for any surface that is not smooth. Need a 10 - 12 inch wheel.

You could take the training wheels off your
kids bike and hook it on:)

That's a good idea! It'd help keep it stable.
This is what I was kinda talking about. Pardon the re-touch job.
