ok,
Saturday four pm: My first cast with a frog I get blow up
miss! then a couple minutes later first fish- around two
pounds then three cast after that I catch another fish a little bigger than the first. Then at the end of this tulle line I catch my last fish around two pounds. I caught all my fish in the middle pond.

Sunday 6:00am: First fish on a lizard (two pounds) then second fish on a red shad worm 1 1/2 Pounds.

All in all I guess I did alright for only fishing less than five hours both days. I can't wait till I get a pontoon boat, i'm so tired of my float tube.

Just a quick question, how are Hobie float Cats?? I'm going to buy the small one.
Peace,
C.B.

Hey Derek, you should try the front lakes. I went on Friday, and ended up with over 10 fish, my biggest around 7-8 lbs!! these fish are ON right now, talked to two tubers who had 40 fish between them on the whole day!! I usually fish the backlakes, but I got that hunt for big fish itsch, and the big boys are being caught. John Walton of Waltons Pond said a 15 and 13+ were caught that same day, swimbaits. If you ever need some company out there, drop me a line.

Derek,

I've never seen a price on the smaller one, but they looked a little spendy. Are the pontoons deflatable (so you can roll 'em up)? That's important for portability.

It is important to match your budget with the frequency of use. Don't spend too much on something you won't use very much, and vice versa.

I have an Outcast PAC-8. It's OK. I like it because it's light and easy to transport. If I had to do it all over again, I'd save up for the Outdoor Enginnering boat. Those things are indestructable.
