21595, BNT Pro Kickboat Open California Delta July 10-11
Posted by Lake, Wed Jun-30-04 07:11 AM
The time is almost here once again for the BNT Pro Kickboat Open. The date is set for July 10th and 11th at Beacon Harbor on the Delta. If you thought the Clear Lake event back in May was fun, you surely dont want to miss the Delta. Once again BNT has stepped up and will prove once again why we call the Pro Kickboat Open events the biggest and best kickboat events ever.

Camping at Beacon Harbor is very cool. The sites are 1st come 1st serve. We wont have any problem having enough sites for everyone. All after weigh in festivities will take place in the campgrounds.

Check in weigh in times is as follows

Check in 7:00am on 7/10 and weigh in will be at 2:00pm
Check in 6:00am on 7/11 and weigh in will be at 1:00pm

More details to follow

Hey Rich, if your worried about the fishing conditions fear not.
Plenty of docks, wood pilings, rip-rap, tulies, hycin, hydrila, Frank’s Track.
I can think of a dozen or more techniques that can be offered to the fish.

Yes that is the location we will be holding the Delta Open, It is a great place with a huge 5 MPH area and tons of great water to fish. As for the raffle we have a bunch of good stuff, rods, reels, guide trip, tackle packs and much much more.

Hey Nick,
Since you aren't going to be there this year, maybe you'd like to let us all know the particulars of how you stuck that pig, so we can learn from the mighty "Grasshoppa"?
Tight lines,
Wade

Sorry, Nick! It's not a club anymore, but three "Tournament Circuits".

Question.......??
Is there going to be a $5 per day launch fee again like last year's Delta Open?... Bringing the fees to $20 + $5x2 + $5x2 equalling $40?
It would be nice to know in advance, so no surprises.

As of right now we are going to be charged to launch but I am still working on final details with the guys at Beacon Harbor. Bring it to be safe

Im looking to fish for my first time with B-N-T, and i was wondering wat i need to do before i go out. Also, im 15, so does that mean anything when signing up?

Thanks,
21658, RE: Info
Posted by Criley, Wed Jun-30-04 09:24 PM
dude its easier thank you think, i guess since your under 16 though u need a parent signature, but other than that its like any other signup. just be there at the check in time, check in, and be ready to fish.

Posted by Lake, Thu Jul-01-04 07:27 AM
Carson pretty much summed it up. We will need the waiver signed by an adult for you, other then that just check in and be ready to fish. If your not going to have someone to sign off on the release form at the Open then I can send you the form and you can bring it with you, just let me know.

Alright, that sounds really cool. I know im sounding stupid asking all the questions. But, how much is it to fish the tourney? Wat about PFD's?

Thanks,

Jdub,
Don't worry about asking too many questions, that's what this board is for. You should read the BNT rules here: www.bass-n-tubes.com/rules.html
You must have an approved PFD and livewell. Those are the two things without which you will not be allowed to fish. As far as cost goes, I believe that the entry fee is $20 with a $5 big fish option for each day for a total of $30. There will also be a camping fee which Lake will announce later. Last year Beacon Harbor charged a $5 launch fee as well but I'm not sure about this year.
