27424, How do most of you haul your pontoon boats

i just bought a new boat...never owned one before, and i'm trying to figure out what's the easiest way to haul this thing. i have a midsize truck with a lumber rack so it doesn't really fit in the back unless it's diagonal (propped up on top of the rack on one side). do you guys usually take them apart? i was thinking trailer cuz i've seen this done when there's more than one, but might be too much for running to the local lake i think. i actually saw a guy with a trailer that had 3 pontoons stacked....it was cool looking. anyway, just trying to get some ideas. thanks for sharing the knowledge.

I strap mine to the luggage rack on top of my Subaru wagon, looks funny but works great. I used to keep it broken down in the back, and it would not take me too long to put together but now that I have a place to store it assembled I just strap it to the roof and go.

You can also get it all set up and partially deflate it to get it to fit where you want it. One of those double action pumps inflate those things in a minute or two.
