Full results will be announced asap. Word is Rob had an 11lbr and a 9lbr for the win and Dave Monterio took 2nd with an 8lbr and his new personal best an 11lbr. I believe JC took 3rd but could be wrong. Congrats to all, I really wish I could have been there. We look forward to the reports and pics.

Great bite last night
The results were something like this...

Rob Belloni - 22lbs+ bf of 11-3 and 9-5
Dave Montiero - 20lbs+ bf of 11-7 and 8-1
Joe Castro - 15lbs+ bf of almost 8lbs
Clint Ryle - 10lbs+ bf of 6 and a half

Those are 4 fish limits. All fish were released alive and kickin. Big thanks to Paul who sacraficed a lot of fishing time weighing big fish during the tourney to ensure all these toads can be caught again next year. Thankyou!

OMFG! What a night. I guess that'll be on the schedule next year too! I won't miss it next year.

It was an awsome night for fishing!! he weather was perfect and the big dogs were biting.I only got 1 fish but it went 5.6#,on a black hoola popper!Really!!:o I didn't even hear the bite,I just went to pop it and felt some wieght and line started moving!Fish on:7

I only had three fish....all three of mine came on a double-prop black buzzbait. Caught one first thing on the damn, a second fish came about an hour later, and the 6+ smacked the buzzbait around 9:30. I missed a couple of others: one came unbuttoned about half way to the boat and the second (which was a big fish) startled me be striking about 5 feet from my boat. I pulled the buzzbait right out if its mouth.

What a BLAST that was! Light winds, warm but not too hot, full moon, and the fish were biting! On BUZZBAITS!

Congrats to Rob, Dave, and Joey! Dave - it was way cool to see that toad you brought in; congrats again.

Wow,what a night!What were the toads caught on?I see Rob has what looks to be a big hammer hanging out of the mouth on one of his toads.Whats b-n-t`s record for heaviest weight for a limit?I`m going to have to fish this lake,maybe we should add it to sonomas schedule?

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone. I had a great time even though I didn't do nearly as well as I had hoped. Definitely a COOL group!! Can't wait to hook up with you guys again.

Fish were coming on all kinds of stuff Saturday night. It was less bait specific as it was that the fish just decided to get stupid for about an hour. I got some Slammer fish, worm fish, the better two fish on swimbaits. I did a piece for Bass West not long ago about night fishing and how the Big Hammer works at night.. I wasn't kidding lol.

boy are you lucky i had to work!! in most tournaments when dave montero and i fish, we seem to always finish with dave 1 place ahead of me or one place behind me. so i would have either been first or third. way to go dave, for helping me know where i would have finished.

I have to worry about what areas I float into and keep from getting Kickboat Jacked. LOL Oh yea baby. All the Bling Bling stands out don't chya know. Last weekend I had a chance to play with the GPS part of the depthfinder. WOW. I have never really played with one, sure Iv'e seen them on some of the glitter rockets I have had the privlage to fish from, but I never played with the buttons. One day Im in a round tube the next Im in a custom kick boat and I have a link to a satalite and can zoom into any given lake in north America and look at the map on how to get there. Sweeeeeet. Now if I could only catch some fish for a change. See ya all Sunday.

Finally, a decent night tourney at Rancho. Congrats to Rob for the win and Dave for the Big dawg and to everyone on all the toads landed. I wish I could have made it to Rancho this year instead of going to Montana to catch bait ;-) Next year... }(
