New for 2006

1. Bass-n-Tubes will be starting their 4th region in 2006. The "Central Region" is going to be focusing on lakes in the central coast area of the state. Please welcome Bryan Vogt (bassin) aboard as the CR tournament director and Casey Langley as the assistant TD.

2. New Shasta Region TD - the new TD for the Shasta Region is Tim Zandbergen he will be assisted by Theresa Couts. Thanks Tim and Theresa for taking on this job.

3. BnT club by-laws - The by-laws consist of 3 parts 1. Club Membership 2. Club awards and 3. BASS federation affiliation requirements. Click the rules button to check them out. There is a link to the tourney rules from the rules page. Please take the time to read and understand them.

4. Points system - BnT will be using a points system to determine the AOY and TOC qualifiers from each region. The points system is explained in the awards section of the by-laws.

5. BnT will be hosting 3 Pro Kickboat Opens again in 2006.
Coyote Open April 1st, Clear Lake Open May 20th & 21st, and Delta Open July 15th & 16th.



Site updates;

1. The 2006 schedule for all regions is up. Click the schedule button to see the 2006 calendar of events. A PDF version can be downloaded by clicking the link in the "Tourney news" section on the home page.

2. The by-laws and rules have been updated for 2006.

3. There is a membership form for members to fill out and return with your 2006 dues. The form can be downloaded in PDF from the link on the member's page.

4. Contact page updated.

5. Home page updated & Sponsors banners re-located.

Looks good Mitch, thanks for the updates. Would it be possible to post a list of who's paid up for 2006? Just to make sure the check isn't still "in the mail"...

Also, to clarify -- do Opens count towards points for AOY & TOC?

Hey! Don't post a list of who hasn't paid, I was trying to get away with it!

Seriously though, the site looks great and I like the change back to a point system. Thank you Mitch and Paul for all your efforts! I can hardly wait for February to roll around!

And does S.C.C.C.B.C`s State Kickboat Classic count as points as well?

cz if the invite were counting for points I would think it would be on the TR schedule and its not and there's already 6 events for that schedule. I know the SR voted on adding the invite to there schedule and decided not to have it. there reason was that they all go to the invite anyways and didnt want to give up a month on there schedule. They would rather fish 7 evnts instead of 6.

Great Job Mitch! 2006 is going to be a great one!!

So we are adding Coyote Open into the points race this year? I thought that one was seperate last year?....Looks cool either way....

Bryan just to let you know none of the Opens count towards BNT points.
