OH SURE! Play up the guy that gets "The bigger one"..LOL.You know there was some one else in that tourament that had a 11 and change lb'r but ended up in second on big fish...UGH! .. nobody wants to hear about second...lol

All kidding aside, this is a great event, I have fished this lake twice for this event with a 2nd and a 4th. To me this is a perfect lake to floattube or kickboat, the size of it makes it that way. Not to mention the very large Bass! Coyote Bait and Tackle puts on a great raffle too.

Was going to be fishing the WON BASS Pro/Am (which is on the same weekend) but plans may be changing....

Man I feel like a piece of bait :D lol.

I won't have a chance to go for the 3 peat this year. Gotta go to a wedding in LA. You guys should enjoy some good fishin though especially if we don't get pounded by rain storms like last year.

You know I always want a piece of you Lake, and you know I would be there if I could - even though I'm fishing the National Guard Delta and a team tournament the two weeks prior }(

I would be more afraid of Nico though for this tournament if he fishes :) You'll have all the competition you want.

Yea, they nuked Mitch's announcement even though Coyote Bait & Tackle is a regular, paying Fish Sniffer advertiser!

Ya I sure opened a can of worms over there yesterday trying to pass on some information about the CBT open. It was still going on today but I couldn't participate since I have been banned for 5 lifetimes LOL :P

Any way here is the last thing the moderators posted about this topic.

Nice folks those Fish Sniffer moderators and admins. I guess they can do whatever they like, it is their sandbox after all. I won't be part of it.
I hope people find this sandbox to their liking.

The last straw that led to my banning was when I invited all Fish Sniffer forum readers to come on over to the float tube kickboat forum here to get the info. Apparently the Fish Sniffer don't like competition; either on the water of off!

Remind me to tell y'all the whole story sometime it will make you laugh. :+

I notice how people bounce around from message board to message board. Just for this reason. The message board nazi's. Some folks take this stuff way too seriously. I can sorta understand them not liking the invites to other sites. They probably gotta keep their viewers up to keep their advertisers and sponsors. It's a business for some people.

I'll be in my Sea Eagle inflatable, stop by and say HI.

See you all on the water.

Happy Fishing!

Yeah, that was pretty lame. They deleted my post in a different thread because I linked to this site (didn't realize all the drama that happened). It's disappointing since alot of guys I talk to from the bass section have started picking up pontoons and float tubes. I fish with a few of them and there should be a few that are going to give the open a try. I don't get why they won't let you post...it's on their "Upcoming Events Calender" :*

Hey Theresa (and everyone else),

Make you sure you get the entry form and mail it in with your payments by the 24th.

We are not collecting at check in for this event. All entries have to be received at Coyote Bait and Tackle.

Here is the entry form.
http://www.calfishing.com/dc/user_files/5712-2007_COYOTE_TOURNEY_FLYER.pdf

I do think we will be launching from the ramp instead of the campground as the flyer says due to the low water level.
Right paul?

I called coyotee bait n tackle and talked to then and they said the watter levels will be fine by the tourney. If not this may be problem for me because I wont have a way to transport my kb to the ramp. I will be getting droped off friday morning and I wont have access to a a vechile until that afternoon. I will probaly have to row to the ramp in the morning.

abner

Ps please let me know where the weigh in is for sure so i can try to make some kind of arrangements

B.C I will more then likely be alone and have a full size truck. i will be staying at the campground friday night and see no reason I cant give you a lift to the ramp in the morning.

You can launch any where after the Tournament Director gives the "launch ok" at the launch site, but you have to row/kick back to the wiegh in site. You can not transport your catch any way besides on the water. That means by your own means of transportation on the water, no out side help from other boats either. Correct me Paul, Mitch if I missed something....

See you guys on Friday....
