Hey fellas just a reminder that club dues need to be paid prior to showing up at Naci. If u do not pay dues prior to showing up we will ne collecting an extra $10 per tourney until dues are paid. So with that said let's do our best to send Paul your dues along with the membership form. There is only 5 weeks until Naci and we have a very short list of people who have paid.

Another note is without dues paid u will not get points toward AOY until paid.

Since i'm trying to get back to fishing, and of course i forgot what different in the basic and prem. and with the basic you just need the membership fee's and flw membership?

Premium Membership
Includes BNT, FLW and TBF membership and all the benefits that come along with it. Including access to the TBF Store for discounted product. Also you need this to fish any TBF events. A lot more to it but thats the basic info.

Basic Membership
The Basic Membership is only BnT dues, and only allows you to compete in BnT club events.

so does that mean we arent allowed to pay at naci the day before the event? or does this mean we can pay for membership there but have to pay an extra $10? what happens if u pay for membership after naci, those points dont count since u were not paid prior?(meaning u would have to use it as throw away. A little clarification would be appreciated.

OK here's the deal as far as I know. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

While not the preferred method the club will take membership payments at Naci. If you pay dues at or before the event sign up then there is no $10 "non member fee" and points are awarded as usual.

Tournament points are awarded regardless of membership. If you are planning on fishing the whole season and accumulating points towards the AOY and TOC races then you have until the second tourney to pay club dues (this isn't written down anywhere but is how we have been doing it), if after the second tourney dues have not been collected then the points earned will not be counted towards awards.

BnT has always allowed people to fish one tourney without being a member as a get acquainted offer.
In the past we noticed the same people using this year after year to cherry pick a tourney they want to fish but not have to join the club. It was never the intention of the fish one without membership deal, to mean one per year. If someone has used the fish one deal in a previous year then they are acquainted with the way we do things already.

The club insurance policy through the FLW only covers paid BNT/FLW members for an event, so we have to buy insurance to cover Opens and such where membership is not a requirement to fish. As a way to offset this extra insurance cost, and encourage membership, we started charging the $10 fee at our monthly events (not opens) for non members who are returning to fish another tourney with the club. The $10 fee does not go towards the payout but goes directly into the clubs general fund.

Does this make sense?

We are not trying to gouge anyone but there are costs associated with doing this club tournament thing. The earlier dues are paid the easier it is for the officers to run things.

I am Paid! Along the same lines/or not, I have a question regards points toward TOC. Does it count toward qualifiying for the TOC (points) if you only enter a tournament for Big fish? Example: I have an AC Teams event scheduled the same day,Sat. Day 1 of Naci. But I will be at the Day 2 of Naci. I have no problem with paying the entries for the event, just wanted to see how that would work points wise.

If you pay the full entry fee then points earned are counted towards AOY/TOC.
If you enter for big fish only and just pay for the option then there are no points awarded.

Just to clarify thing we are not excepting membership fees at Naci. They need to be paved to Paul prior to the Naci event. If not paid u will have until the following event to pay dues or no points will be awarded. We mainly have the same members every year so paying by march for points should not be a problem.

If u do not pay Paul prior to Naci I will be collecting an extra $10 dollars from u. This was already mentioned when I first put the post up.
