Andy "Cooch" Cuccia has been a long time sponsor of Bass-n-Tubes and I am sure most of you have heard about his boat being stolen and stripped. If not, here is the story...

BnT is thinking of hosting a benefit "big fish only" tournament at the delta with the proceeds going to help Cooch out.
This would be a great way to help a friend in need and to re-pay him for all the support he has shown us for so many years.

We would plan for the tourney to be in early December at Beacon Harbor. Details still need to be worked out.

I am thinking about a standard $40 entry plus $5 big fish option, pay big fish only at the regular rate and the rest would go to help Cooch with his boat troubles.

If any body would like to donate prizes to be given out to the winners that would be a bonus.

I will be there ...

The more i think about this the more i relize Dec. might be tough. Not many open weekends and with christmas shopping and the BNT meeting it could hurt the turnout. I suggest we shoot for Jan. not much going on that month and it will give us time to get sponsors, pull permits, etc

I am a long time follower of the site. This is my first post so hi all. Well anyways if you make this tourney in jan then I will do my best to make it for it. I am in Texas so it will be hard but I think I am can make it. So please keep me posted on when it will be and I will do my best. Also if not able to make it let me know if there is a possible way to donate to help? I have ready many of his stories and I am a big fan of his.
