We had a great turnout on a great weekend at Salt Spring Valley reservoir for stop number two of the BnT season.
24 Angler made the trip to the lake this weekend. There were 6 faces at check in this month, with 2 junior members aged 10 and 15.
Welcome to Mike Alaga(10), Damon Treadwell(15), Mike Mcghee, Doug Scott, Topper De La Rosa, and Devin De La Rosa. It was great having you guys come and fish with us!

Mitch Teman took home the trophy with 23.39 pounds. In second place with 20.52 pounds, and the days big fish of 5.17, was Taylor Capilla. Third place went to Scott Rouhier with 15.00 pounds and the last paying spot went to Dave Monteiro with 14.45 pounds.

Thanks to everyone who came to fish with us and congrats to all the top finishers. Many thanks also to Rodd at Salt Spring Valley for his hospitality.

For sure, congrats to the winners...Mitch and Taylor especially...those were awesome results. I was actually surprised to see your totals. At least I did not get skunked like I did last year at Clearlake. If I am to continue with this, I have some things to figure out. I spent half the time on the water rowing, and half the time drifting and fishing ...so a lot of wasted time. I have realized that it is difficult to use fins with my boat, so I did not use them this time.

I truly want to thank all of you that in some way helped me, and/or encouraged me this past Sunday. Especially, Rob Linden...you were awesome and your help with everything was very much appreciated.

I hope to see you all next month at Clearlake, but not sure for now. Like I said, I need to figure some things out. Takes me forever to just get ready to go, then to setup when I get there, then again to pack up and leave. I was so exhausted, I could barely drive home, and my back was screaming at me. But I am trying to talk my wife into going with me to Clearlake, and she would be very helpful...at least with the non-fishing stuff.

I had a great time fishing with the club again! It was great to see a lot of new faces and some youngsters as well.I really liked this place and the host couldn't be nicer and have such a cool place.
I caught all my fish on a slpit shot and dragging a 10" worm around.i can't wait for the delta! :o
I would like to thank Chris Pochop for running another great tournament, the weigh in went very smoothly and it was good to see so many limits come to the scales.
I hope to make the open but am unsure.
Great job everybody!

Hey I wanted to say thanks for a really great first time. I look forward to the Clear Lake and the Delta events. You all made this pretty cool for me. I hope to get a few more people to try this out.

Thanks again,

Doug
