So I took a day off to hit Salt Spring on opening day. I met Steve at the lake at 7am and we were on the water by 7:15.
It was gorgeous day to be fishing and not working! Cool but not cold, the water temp started out at 48deg and went to 51 by the time we got out around 1pm. Visibility was maybe a foot max in most places with lots of algae in the water.

The sunrise was awesome...

I like sunrises.

I mainly threw swimbaits and an A-rig, it was a slow day and I only caught 2 fish for 2 bites.
The first one was about 4 lbs, on a Triple Trout. Didn't get a pic since like a dummy I turned the GoPro off when I thought I was turning it on, doh! I did get the hook up on film though. :+

The second one I caught a little later on after I resorted to a drop shot. It was a pound and a half to 2 lbs or so. I did get some screen shots from the video to share for this one.

The lake is about a foot or 2 lower that when BnT was there last March. We need rain!

I caught two. One about three pounds and the other about six ....(inches).
