Hey guys. I finally received my first issue of FLW magazine. It's the Aug / Sept issue. Will I get one year from this issue? I think I officially signed up in February. They must be really back logged?

Well let's see...
I think I received your check from another member of the club at our February tourney at Berryessa, that would have been on the 22nd.
Then I sat on it for a month until after the March tourney at Salt Spring before I sent it in to TBF, to see if I would get more late sign ups. Your info was submitted to TBF on April 9th along with 2 others that joined late. Apparently they are pretty well backed up by then

This an FYI for everyone...
After I submit the initial roster in December/January I will hold late sign ups until I have 4 or 5 more, or until after the March tourney. Makes the volunteers, that do the TBF part, lives much easier. Mine too!
Once the TBF stuff is done and paid for then they send the info to the FLW. After that you are in no mans land until they get to it.

It is in everyone's best interest to have your membership info and $$$ to the club officers before the end of December for this very reason.

Like Mitch said getting dues paid in Dec. would fix any problems with getting the mags early in the season. With that said FLW changed the way they do membership they went from an annual membership to 12 month membership. Your FLW was active on June 18th 2015 and will expire on June 18th 2016. This is not the same for TBF, they still do it based on a calendar year. This does get tricky. When you pay your dues in Dec. 2015 your TBF dues will expire in Dec. of 2016 but your FLW wouldn't expire until June 2017. I hope this makes sense.
