I still think evenly spreading the ages out would be a better idea than young V.S. old, the older guys have a lot more experience than us, and although we may be really cocky, that aint gonna hep us win. But let's talk about gettin this thing going, setting a date etc. I'd like to do one at the delta in oct. since I'm not gonna make it to clear, but I don't know. What do all you think?

If you want we could do a side pot at Los Banos.I could weight everyones big fish after I weigh there sack,to calculate at the end of the day. We could take the top 5 big fish from ea. age group Probally would be better to make the age group split at 21 so 22 and over would be an old fart.that should even the playing feid a little.How does that sound?Hey shouldnt you be in school?

I have a D and E perion prep which means I dont have to go to my second period class, brunch, or my third period class. I got bored sittin aroud at school cuz none of my friends have the same preps, so I came home to play with my cats and talk on the forum.

I think this is probly the best idea. I know some of you guys are excited about this idea and I think it's a good idea too, but the way things work with planning tournaments you really need to have this kind of stuff in the schedule a good time in advance if you expect everyone to show up and fish. A side pot at Los Banos would be a great idea because that tournament has alreay been on the schedule, people have made the plans to be there and the turn out should be good. If people don't show up, no loss because they just don't put their $$ in the side pot that morning.
As far as the actual pot goes and how it is paid out, you guys figure that part out, but if it happens, I'll get in on whichever side. I'm 21 fyi.

The break by age I think should be from young'n to 21 then 22 to old'n.The winning team would be top 5 in this age group so if everyone put in the pot only 5 would get paid(example 10 a head 15 people enter = $150 split among the top 5 by age group pay $30ea. This is something we could try lets see what happens.
