3/4 Island Trip
Very slow start to our island 3/4 day trip today! At around 12:30, with only 30 rockfish onboard we rolled the dice & ran up the island a few miles & fished a different area than we have been fishing the past few days...Thanks in large part to our awesome anglers who remained optimistic throughout the day we managed to get on some good fish late in the afternoon .

Our 19 anglers caught 86 reds, 104 rockfish, & 2 lingcod. Squid strips on double dropper loops with 12 oz sinkers was the hot set up today. Please make sure you have at least 20 yards of mono top-shot on your reels if you have braid backing otherwise your rig is too unforgiving & you will miss many bites!!
