Stardust 3/4 Day trip

Beautiful day on the ocean today folks. After last night thunder and lightning we still made it off the dock today with all our 21 reservations and had a great day over at Santa Rosa Island.

We started our day in the deeper water anywhere from 265-280 feet and picked a few Rockfish and Lingcod despite a strong current. After trying a couple stones out deep we headed shallow and were able to stay busy on lingcod with a decent smattering of rockfish in the mix as well. In the afternoon a few tide lines came through and the current backed off so we ventured back out to the deeper water and managed to find on a couple spots that really wanted to bite. Mostly big Coppers with a handful of Reds as well.

Our 21 anglers ended the day with 186 Copper Rockfish, 24 misc. Rockfish, 1 Whitefish and 63 Lingcod.

The Stardust still has room on there 3/4 day trip Sunday and the Coral Sea will be 1/2 Day fishing Sunday with a light load as well and the 3/4 Day fishing Monday-Wednesday. Please book online or call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for any questions.
