Today was opening day of rockfish season. On a 3/4 day island run the Stardust had 27 anglers who boated 11 lingcod, 157 white fish, 125 rockfish and 6 sheep head. Jason said the white fish were the jumbo variety. I'm not sure what's running tomorrow but he will have 3/4 day island runs for shallow water rockfish on the 3rd and 4th, and then back to two half day trips for Saturday.
