The morning run had 39 anglers catching 130 Reds and 65 Rockfish.

I had the pleasure of fishing with 18 Special Olympic Athletes during the afternoon run. Northern Santa Barbara County Special Olympics had an afternoon charter. Jason, Luke and company were outstanding hosts. These athletes had a ball. Many had never caught a fish before. The weather was great and the fishing was very good for Reds and rockfish. We eneded up with 180 Reds and 50 Rockfish. Conrad took first place with a nice Ling. He recieved a medal for his catch. We went back to Santa Maria and made fish tacos for the group.

The fish are biting and are pretty nice fish. Get on out there.
