23 anglers had 3 Sandbass, 25 Mackerel, 11 Calicos, 37 Bonito, 6 Barracuda, and 78 Rockfish

OK I'll ask, what general area where you hooking those bonita and what size ear they? I live in SB and it would be great to C&R some 10# bones.

Deano,
Brian Brian and Dan were catching some small ones off Goleta beach trolling in their kayaks a week or two ago, like 1.5lbs.
edit: Jason says these are those same size fish. Not that big, but fun to catch. A good size for the kids to pull on for sure.

they started to grow a little already. The everage is now like 2 2.5lbs. they ara fun to pull on, especially the ones that dont know how small they are. by the way water temp is like 70.
