We went on the second annual Torch Run Special Olympics Charter. We took 18 Special Olympic athletes out on a great afternoon of rockfishing. Most of these athletes had never been out fishing before. The athletes had a great time and the fish were chomping. The jackpot was a 10 pound ling caught by athlete "Wild Bill". Bill does not speak very well but everyone new how excited he was when he caught that fish. The trip ended up with lots of fish for everyone. Jason and the crew were a great help as ususal. I highly recomend any groups that want to take first time anglers out to give Jason a ring. The trip ended in Santa Maria with fresh fish tacos for all athletes and many of their family members.
