What a great day out at San Augustine. We ended up with limits for the charter. The ocean was sweet. Flat and calm with a little current. The Reds that were being caught were pigs. Several over 5 pounds. Andre and his partner Mark fished the iron all day and put on a clinic. We had 10 Lings, two went over 9 pounds. The lings wanted the small live mackrel we were snagging on the bait catchers. Total we ended up with 160 Reds 10 lings and a load of nice Browns.
I hope to do another this fall.
