Well today was the Ling Cod opener. 34 anglers braved some very tough seas. Very windy up the line today. Once they got up there it was ok. My son was on the trip. He reported that there were several Ling Cod caught. He landed two decent ones. He was fishing 30 pound and hooked a good one. He got about 15 cranks on him when the ling decided he had enough. The boy could not stop that fish from getting back to the rock. He told me the Jackpot was between an approx. 10 pound ling cod and an 8-9 pound Red snapper.

In total the 34 anglers caught 3 Whitefish, 96 Rockfish and 190 Reds
