Just call them and tell them you broke your rod. They offer you the two options of send it in or pay $50 and they'll send you a replacement with another shipping label in the rod tube. So you put your rod in the tube they sent and slap the new label on and send it out.

The rod does seem a little stiff but they are a light blank and you have to load them by hand.Shaking the rod will do nothing to show you the action of the rod. I have a couple that seemed to stiff until I fished them and I was pleasantly surprised.
