Hey Brian,

If I can add my $.02, having the center console makes a big difference when you are trolling and/or fighting/following a big fish, especially solo. Having a tiller run engine makes it harder to keep the boat on a straight track and man your rods without constantly adjusting the tiller. It also brings the center of gravity more in the center of the boat, where it is more stable. You will also be much more comfortable standing, as opposed to bent over, or sitting low and sideways as you try to steer. Do take it out a few times to get a feel.
