Vaqueros is a nice looking lake. It's too bad they don't have a boat launch. I'm sure it's a threat to national security or something to have a private boat on there :P I walked the shore there last summer trying for striper but didn't see anything. There were a lot of fish eating birds out in the middle which seemed interesting. Going in a boat seems like a good plan.
