Yo Rye, are you getting technical on us now ? Ha! Ha! Just playing dude......
But seriously I have seen quite a few bass in the 15 lb range. Two of them last week at San Pablo Dam Res. About 4 or 5 at Berryessa over the last 5 years.
On my first trip to Pablo about 14 years ago, I saw one which I thought would go 20 lbs ! But admittedly, my biggest bass back then was less than 8 lbs, so I did not have much to go by. Last year at Berry I sighted one which I believe would go 18 lbs. Then about a week later I ran into a guy who worked on the lake (he seemed to be very knowledgeable and not full of @#$@) and claimed to have seen the lake record. Without telling him the spot, he described the exact place I had seen the monster. hmmmm
