Jared, if you want a great reel for a good price, I really like my scorpion 1000/1001. They'll run you around $150, but I've seen them go for less on ebay brand new. You could probably get it for around $135. They cast and pitch 1/8 to 1/4 ounce weights well, but can still handle the heavier stuff. I'll show you one this weekend if I do the tourny. Come'on todd, I know you're spending $18.00 on lures, why not $250.00 on a reel, at least with the reel, you can be sure a bass isn't going to break it off ;) Go big or go home.
