#47709, "Salt springs report"

Wet and windy. That's my report.....😀 I wanted to acknowledge everyone that showed up and attempted to fish, it was a miserable day out the with no where to run from the wind also congrats to Devin and Scott for finishing in the money and to Wayne for kicking butt for his first win ever at White Slough the day before that was awesome man nice Fish!

I started fishing the first main lake point on right leading towards the school house. I tried cranking dragging a jig all around it shallow to deep concentrating on the bumpier parts of it for nada.

I crossed the lake and fished the flats across from the ramp with the wind blowing into them. After watching Scott wrestle with a white donkey on a spinning rod I started to throw a blade atop the stringy grass with the sticks and quickly caught a limit I tried to duplicate the bite on 2 other points for nada them I tried some deeper sections for the same result. So I went back to my two points and caught a few more. I tried to keep the blade in my hand most of the time. I caught crank fish but they were smaller. I caught fish burning the spinner bait mostly using a 1/2 and a 3/4 white. All the fish I caught were 1-3 ft with grass and rock . I caught around 12 or so.If I could go back I would have fished the viney grass more thoroughly. Luckily I squeeked by with the win. See you guys at Naci!
