Stardust 3/4 day

Hello everybody here is your 3/4 day report for the stardust. We left the harbor this morning with a full tank of live bait pointed towards Santa Rosa Island. We had a very nice crossing with mellow winds, currents and swell. We started our day in some mid-deeper water stones where we found fishing a bit scratchy but we still pulled up some fish of each spot.

Our deeper water never really turned on completely but we did manage one good drift for 50 fish or so, anything from coppers and reds to lingcod. After a few more shorter stops that didn't produce much we decided to head to shallower territory down the island.

Our shallow water fishing was probably our better fishing of the day, we caught some good coppers and lingcod as well as other assorted rockfish. We ended our day in the shallows and kicked it for home with decent bags for everyone to take home.

For our 25 anglers we caught 176 rockfish and 6 lingcod. The stardust is private chartered tomorrow but feel free to book spots now for upcoming trips on our website or call the Sealanding at 8059633564.

Coral Sea 1/2 Day trip

Good afternoon folks. We are putting up towards the harbor while the crew processes our days catch after a tough day of half day fishing for our group of 25 today.

We started off in the deeper water and fished many spots for only a few fish off each spot despite very nice meter marks throughout the morning. Around noon we had to look at a different zone in hopes of having better results. When we first arrived to the shallows our first stop cooperated pretty well with reds, coppers and browns coming up on most anglers lines around the boat. Unfortunately the rest of the spots we hit only yielded a few fish off each one until we headed for home.

Our 25 anglers ended the day with 64 Reds, 38 misc. Rockfish, 12 whitefish, 1 Sheephead, 1 Lingcod and 1 halibut.

The Coral Sea is booked up the next two days and the Stardust is chartered saturday and full for Sunday. The Coral Sea has 3/4 Day trips Monday-Wednesday and the Stardust will be 1/2 Day fishing those days as well. Please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or visit our website to book online.
