Coral Sea
1/2 day 8.3.17

We are just about in from a killer 1/2 day trip. Today with 12 people we caught 106 rockfish, 9 sand bass, 1 sheephead, and 15 whitefish. What an amazing day, super light load and really good fishing. Hey we even saw a white shark today. This is a great time to get on an uncrowded boat. We are a go for tomorrow's 1/2 day trip. Lots of room, you can JUST SHOW UP!! We also have 4 spots for Sunday's limited load Cousins/Promar/Ahi Sponsored 3/4 day trip! Please call for reservations 805-963-3564 or book from our website www.stardustsportfishing.com

Stardust 3/4 day Report

Hey everyone, 3/4 day fishing was really good today on the lingcod. We had flat calm conditions all the way out with hardly a ripple on the surface. We targeted lings right away when we got to Santa Rosa this morning and they were biting full speed. We had 3 great drifts where we put on our lingcod limits and some great size ocean whitefish.

We left that zone and ran down to go look for rockfish in the shallows and found fishing to be pretty scratchy at first but eventually we got on a few good stops for rockfish, white fish and some sheephead. We called it a day with a ton of fish on board and still had extremely nice weather for our crossing home.

For our 39 anglers we caught 207 rockfish, 23 ocean whitefish, 6 sheephead and 78 lingcod. The stardust is running a 3/4 day trip tomorrow and has lots of room available. JUST SHOW UP IN THE MORNING, boat leaves at 7am. The Coral Sea is also a go with a light load too. Feel free to book spots now for upcoming trips on our website or call the Sea landing at 805-963-3564.
