#791, "November 4, 2007 Fish Count"

What a perfect day at Santa Rosa Island. This was my last charter of 2007. We took 23 adults and 3 kids out on a 3/4 day charter. The ocean was grease calm. The fishing for big Copper Rockfish was as good as I have seen it in years. These Coppers were in the 3-5 pound range all day. We had several nice drifts on quality Reds as well. The Lings did not play today. 1 Legal and a few shorts. In all limits by noon. 160 Rockfish, 100 Reds and 1 Ling.

I know I am bias about this boat. However it is still one of the very best operations on the Central Coast. The landing has 3/4 day access to Santa Rosa and all day access to Both Pt. Concepcion and San Miguel Island. The Stardust is clean and well maintained. The crew is top notch. Jason is a great skipper and a good man. He cares about the people on his boat. The galley is clean and the food is good. This is a boat that you should strongly consider chartering for a 5 AM to 5 PM charter. Take 24 friends and have a great time.
