I was wondering what a good brand of spinner baits are, i just caught my first blade fish on saturday, its pretty sad, but i dont fish with them at all, but now that i caught a few fish i have some confedience in them and was wondering what kind of brand would be a good spinnerbait, at one of the lakes i fish at, lake tulloch, there are alot of weeds and the water is a little murky, and alot of docks, i also want to get some good jigs that i can swim under all the docks. Thanks

Justin

Justin: IMO, one of the best line(and they have a LOT of them)s of spinnerbaits is made by a Texas company, Nichols.

Nichols is definatley a good blade they have been around along time for good reason..they catch. Check out TW selection one of the hottest jigs right now is REVENGE and the VPR blades are very good aswell. Overall most spinnerbaits are good just make sure they have a nice skirt and bearing swivle and your set.
Good Luck

There are a lot of good brands of baits out on the market nowadays. But as of the last year or so, I have really switched over to the Revenge spinnerbaits. They always run true and can take a real beating. I have had fish bend the crap out of the arm and then I just put it back to its spot and it runs true. Plus they have some of the nicest colors that really work in our local lakes. As for jigs, I now use Lure Logic from BWW. They have some nice colors and have a good quality Gammie hook. But everyone will have there own opinion on what is the best. This is just what I like.

Revenge, Nichols, and Lure Logic are all good spinnerbaits. As far as jigs go there are several goos ones out there. I like Skinny Bear, Dennis the Menace, Lure Logic, and Assault
