I just received my fish from the taxidermist. This is the fish that won the float tube tourney on January 28,2002. I attached 2 pics, 1 of the fish, and the other is the trophies for biggest fish, and heaviest stringer, both 1st place.

These fish are called lighting trout. They are yellow in color with a pink stripe down the center. SARL will be stocking a truck load next thursday the 14th. These fish are not common, in fact a sarl exclusive from mt lassen. Most of the time the fish are rainbow. I was totally stoked, because as sarl says, when you hook up a lighting trout, they go airborn! This one went airborn right in front of me about 2-3ft in the air upon hookup. Awesome rush to catch, and the meat is good too. Better than rainbow...

How's it going everyone!
Banginbob here,
There was a question of how much it cost to stuff a lloyd, well Egor in Santa Ana California charges $11.50 a inch. A standard price by most taxidermist. This fish is a skin mount, not fiberglass. The fins are fake though, as the real ones had alot of damage. Egor is fast about getting your fish back, took 1 month. If anyone is interested in stuffing a prized catch his information is as follows:
Caragodin's Co. ARt Taxidermy Studio
2931 S. Main St., Suite D
Santa Ana, Ca 92707
714) 435 0950

I don't work for this guy, just use his services.

Tight lines,
Bangin Bob
