A good friend, regular crew & owner of the "Dirty Sanchez" fished Catalina yest. & got into a 3 hr. WFO bite on big calico's that included a 6 on a 5" Pearl Big Hammer:

Damn, very nice calico's!!!

I have heard nothing but good things about Robert's fish mounts, except that it takes quite awhile.

those thing are pigs and wide open. XXXX way to go man. rpberts did my largemouth and my striper. the mounts like bitchen and the price is not to bad. it takes a little bit to get back. however i think may have taken long tring to get a trophy fish.

The right guy caught the fish, he truly appreciates the experience & understands people spend their whole life chasing a fish like that.

Matt, Do you have any contact info for Lyons and Ohaver? I've heard great things about their calico's.
I have personally been through a horrible experience with Roberts as well of hearing many others.

I used to do taxidermy and I have done a lot of fish. I even got prety good at it. I would say I am/was better than 80% of perfesional fish taxidermists. The reason I am telling you this is for reference. Both Lyons and Ohaver and Roberts are world class. They both do incredible work. They put me to shame.
