55 Fwy. to the end. It turns into Newport Blvd. Continue on Newport Blvd. until you get to the Pavillion. Kind of hard to miss on your left side. Skiffs can be rented with bait, small swim baits, crank baits etc. are good for spotted bay bass, sandies and halibut. Occasional white seabass. Big area, watch for currents and structure to find better spots.

Dear Richard,

Are the rental skiff really rough and are they hard to control?
One more thing, do you know if shore fishing is avaliable in or
around the newport harbor?

thanx for the help,
aaron d.
