Heard a rumor that there was a fish over 15lbs caught last week at Coyote. Can anyone confirm that one?

In the confirmed rumor department I heard some pretty good scoop from Margarita for last week. Two stripers were caught, both weighed in at the marina and released. One fish was reportedly 13lbs and the other 18lbs. One was caught on the Slammer and one on an Osprey. Don't know which lure caught which fish. There was also a 9lb bass caught on Thanksgiving day that capped off a 27lb limit for Dale Ball. That's the biggest 5 fish bag I've ever heard of out of there. Those fish were caught on the 9" Slammer. It's all about timing right now! You have to be on the water on the right days before the fronts come through. For example, yesterday was probably slamming, today could be too, but tomorrow will probably be bluebird skies and tuff bite.

Hoping to go to Coyote this weekend and crossing my fingers for the weather. I don't like the full moon but that's life.

Where'd the Coyote roumor come from? It's not unreasonable. Park rangers have confirmed two 16s there this year.
