I apologize for "holding up the boat" on schedules. Anyway, here you are. All dates are on a Sunday except for the August 16th night tournament which will be on a Saturday.

WOW Clint, excepted office on about 12/8 and the schedule was posted on 12/14. My hats off to you bud, good job and great looking schedule. It doesnt get any faster then that. I hope I can fish a couple of those.

Looks good, I hope to make a few of these. Is the MR night tourney actually at night like Rancho Seco or is it a sundowner?

I haven't set the times but this is to be a night tournament, not a sundowner. I expect to launch off the levee across from Union Point. I will be posting more later but everyone will be expected to have a light and either a cell phone or hand held radio. Ideally those that are comfortable doing so will "buddy up" and pick a fishing partner for safety.

Having a night tournament on the delta is quite a bit different than on Rancho Seco: boats are not limited to 5 mph and there is current. This means that lights will need to stay on, at least below the barrier. We will need to be extra careful to ensure that this is a safe event.

But lots of talks going on making Beacon a nicer/safer place to come and enjoy.

Word has it they may be putting in a much larger, less steep, self service ramp.

They may be expanding the campgrounds.

I know I'm going to work on having some horseshoe pits put in. }(
