Holy Calico Bass!! Capt. Jason knocked the calico's today! Great 4th of July on the Stardust 25 Anglers, 43 Calico Bass, 65 Rockfish, 1 Sheephead, 1 Cabazon, 2 Sand Bass. Light load again tomorrow, call the landing 805-963-3564 by 5:30pm to make your reservations.

Had some fun out there today :) Jason had us up in the kelp beds and we found some nice bass fishing! I landed 5 nice calicos on 5in big hammers in #13 baitfish. Every bite was on the sink, right up against the kelp line.

Missed a good number of bites as well. Saw one short seabass and lots of brown rockfish mixed in. Wish I could go again tomorrow :)
