On the 3/4 day on Sunday the Stardust got into a fantastic seabass bite putting 30 seabass on board along with a bonus 40lb halibut. The final count for 34 anglers was 1 Halibut, 45 Barracuda, 30 White Seabass, and 30 Rockfish. There's some pics up on the gallery at:

Where? And why isn't the boat fishing the white seabass more frequently? Hope they will be targeting the whites this Friday as I'll be on the 'Dust!

I didn't get all the details but its at the islands, either Santa Cruz or Santa Rosa. The Stardust right now is fishing 3/4 day trips on Friday and Sunday and those are the only trips that will make the run to the islands, its a bit far for a 1/2 day ;)

Whether they fish seabass or whatever else on the 3/4 days is up to the captain and the weather but right now I'm sure if the seabass are biting that's where the boat will be headed.
