Rob,
I think that is a great idea. I was wondering why the site didn't have one.

1397, I agree Posted by theblankslate, Fri Jun-14-02 06:26 AM
Actually I found my boat on NCBF.com's classfied section in Feb. I think haivng a classfied section on this website would make sense.

1398, Great Idea Posted by MrTree, Fri Jun-14-02 07:37 AM
I think it's a great idea. I put up a for sale post for some items a couple of weeks ago on the main board and sold them within 48 hrs. Besides, I'm always looking for bargains too.
Thanks,

1399, post'em here works Posted by Wade, Fri Jun-14-02 10:49 AM
I don't want to have to go all over to find everything. It's nice to have it on this board which we already read when we see it's got a new post. JMHO

1400, maybe... Posted by brian, Fri Jun-14-02 10:55 PM
It might be a good idea. If for nothing else, to keep the main board more on track. I definitely think there should be some ground rules though, as far as spammers and one time posters and stuff. People who only use websites for repeatedly posting things that they're trying to sell and don't contribute anywhere else on the website kind of annoy me, but that might just be me. I would be all for a rule of something like a 20 post minumum to post in the classifieds board or something. That would encourage posting info regarding fishing, in order to use the classified board, rather than just a way for somebody to make money without contributing to the site. JMO. -Brian

Might want to require the seller to post a price.
The "unwritten" rules are important, too. Like first response = first crack at the item, etc. A lot of the stuff just boils down to individual integrity & common courtesy.

I would love to see classifieds. I'm currently looking for an almost new Ranger or Champion and see quite a few posts on NCBF. I would love to see more Southern California action.

Great idea, lot's of guys on Allcoast do pretty well hooking up with fellow anglers for stuff they are looking for. As long as you are careful, shouldn't have any problems making contact with fellow anglers who are in the market for stuff you want to sell and/or buy- who wants to but my sports card collection so I can buy a bass boat? :)
Stoked to see this site getting better all the time!

hey Hookup,
If you are located in the Ventura are there is an older 1990 Champion with a 150 Evinrude and it is extremely clean. They are asking $8200. It's at Stanton marine in Ventura. I was going to get it but I found a Ranger that is way nicer for the same price. So of course I had to get the Ranger.
